Lenovo Mobile S800 Review

The new Lenovo Mobile S800 Review
Lenovo Mobile Philippines announced their new mobile phones that will surely hit the Philippine market. The full line-up (currently 6 models) will be soon available to all dealers nationwide.

One of the Lenovo mobile phones that caught my attention is the Lenovo S800. The first translucent (transparent) screen phone, a full colored display with 262K colours.

This phone is the perfect mobile for fashionistas. It comes with two colors, the black and the white.

What's cool about this phone is that it has a G-sensor. The phone has an Idle style mode that mimics the water in a bottle / aquarium with two fish. So everytime you tilt the screen, the water also follows. Not just that, the water line also serves as your battery indicator. If the battery goes down the water level goes down too. So if you're running out of battery, you won't see the water and the fish anymore. Cool, isn't it?

The phone has a 2.0 MP camera and you can use it as a webcam. You can record your favorite radio shows with its built-in FM Recording.

The Lenovo S800 offers features that make it a phone that's both chic and functional.

Key Features:
   ● Transparent Display Screen
   ● G-Sensor
   ● Webcam Functionality
   ● Expandable memory up to 16GB via microSD card
   ● 2 Megapixels Camera
   ● Video Record and Playback
   ● Music and Video Player
   ● Privacy Protection
   ● SMS and Call Blacklist
   ● Text Viewer (.txt file)
   ● Built-in FM Radio with Recording
   ● Answer Machine
   ● Background Sound
   ● Bluetooth Technology
   ● GPRS and MMS

The phone retails for only Php 8,880. It comes up with a 1-year warranty (parts and services).

G-Sensor or Gravity Sensor is like an Accelerometer.
G-Sensor only works on Idle mode "Water in bottle" and viewing of pictures for S800.

For detailed explanation for G-sensor, see this link:
